一見した形や色使いは、とても日本人的な雰囲気を感じるのですが、実際に着ると思いのほか華奢に見せるテクニックに、パリの空気も感じます。

しかも、今年のプリントは昨年に閉店したJun Okamoto代官山店の外をデザイナー自身が撮ったモノをプリント。

一見すると何かわからない、アブストラクトな感じくらいが大人の女性が着るには丁度イイ。

<Styling tips>

とにかく身巾と着丈のバランスが程よい、優秀な1枚。

スカート、パンツのシルエットは選びません。

無理にインしなくても、野暮ったく見えないので大丈夫。

Jun Okamoto is a Japanese male designer originally from Kumamoto, south of Japan.
His approach towards seasonal collection is unique. He always writes a story every season
and the clothes is designed for the characters in his tale.

The collection always has original fabric, and print that is created only for his collection.
Overall image of the brand is soft, girly and a bit dolly, may be described as a stereotyped
Japanese girl.
But with the use of high quality fabric and the skill backed by having studied and worked in
Paris, his collection is not for feeble girls but for ladies with some attitude!

<Design detail>

This is an eye-catching dress that boldly uses a graphic original print.

For post-COVID outings, it's just right to be this daring!

The print features a large check and hand-drawn stars, which make a strong impression but still
have a soft and beautiful tone, avoiding an overly sharp impression.

The cape-like layered fabric adds dimension and movement to the dress.

The sleeves are also just the right length to cover the upper arms.

It's also great that you can take care of it at home, and it has pockets on both sides.
