唯一無二のデニムスカート

今シーズンは展示会で、「うわ、なにこれ素敵！」と思わず手が伸びたお洋服が多かったMillanni。
その中のひとつが、このデニムスカートです。

形自体は、以前のコレクションで別素材で登場していたデザインのアップデート版。
けれど、生地が変わるだけでこんなにも印象が変わるのかと驚かされました。
“最初に考え抜かれたデザイン”は、素材を変えてもその魅力が新しい形で花開く——それを実感させてくれた一枚です。

縦横に編み込むように施された三つ編みディテールから生まれる、自然なギャザーとドレープ。
ヒップラインをふんわりと包み込む立体的なフォルムが、後ろ姿まで美しく見せてくれます。
ストレッチのないコットンデニムながら、ヒップに程よいゆとりを持たせているので、ラインを拾わず安心。
さらにウエストの一部にゴムを配することで可動域も確保し、見た目の美しさと快適さを両立しています。

左の裾がピンと横に跳ねるようなデザインもポイントのひとつ。
直線的な表情になりがちなデニム素材で、重力に逆らうような軽やかさを感じさせるこの動きはとても新鮮です。

素材は、程よく厚みのあるコットンデニム。
思いっきり走り回れる——というと少し大げさかもしれませんが、気兼ねなくどこへでも連れて行ける安心感。
履きこむほどに風合いが増し、自分だけの一枚に育っていくスカートです。

<ブランド説明>

共にイタリアで学んだ根本貴史と伊藤理恵子のご夫妻が創めたブランド。
10周年を機に、ブランド名をVentriloquistからMillanni（ミランニ）に変更。
難しいピースが多いけど、店主的には、立体裁断から創り出されるドレープ使いに魅了されているブランド

<Design Detail>

A One-of-a-Kind Denim Skirt

This season, Millanni presented so many pieces at their exhibition that made me go, “Wow, this is stunning!”
One that especially caught my eye was this denim skirt.

The silhouette is an updated version of a design from a previous collection made in a different fabric — but the change in material completely transforms its look and feel.
It’s the kind of piece that reminds you how a truly well-conceived design reveals new beauty when reimagined in a fresh texture.

Braided details woven vertically and horizontally create gentle gathers and flowing drapes, forming a beautifully asymmetrical silhouette.
The softly rounded shape embraces the hips gracefully, enhancing your silhouette from every angle.
Even though it’s made from a non-stretch cotton denim, the slight volume around the hips ensures comfort without clinging.
An elastic panel at the waist adds flexibility, balancing structure and ease for effortless wear.

One of its playful details is the hemline on the left side that flicks outward — a rare expression of lightness in a material as structured as denim.

Crafted from medium-weight cotton denim, it’s durable yet relaxed — the kind of piece you can wear anywhere without worry.
As you move through the seasons and wear it often, the fabric will soften and age beautifully, becoming uniquely yours.

<Brand Description>

Millanni is the brand that a married couple, Mr. Takasshi Nemoto and Mrs. Rieko Ito have
been running.
The husband is in charge of the woven products, and the wife is in charge of Knitted
ones.
They have both had work experience in Italy, such as Max Mara.
Most of their piece is made by draping technique not by pattern paper , which contributes
to the bold and fluid movement.
The brand name has been changed to Millanni from Ventriloquist on their 10year anniversary.
